LOG HOME HALF BATH
Maintaining the aged character of this log home half bathroom, while establishing an air of elegance was the main focus for this complete renovation project. This bathroom was a unique one, with one log wall and a ceiling made of barn siding.
The renovation process began by applying paint to the walls, then using a glaze technique to achieve an aged look. The barn siding ceiling received a white wash treatment and a honed travertine sink was installed on a simple Corian counter, atop a distressed corner cabinet. Gold was used throughout the bathroom in various light and bathroom fixtures to lend an old and elegant aesthetic. And the look was completed with a shuttered painted cabinet and brick-style travertine flooring.
