Living Room Blank Slate
A truly fun project is working from a blank slate. Knowing the client’s color and style preferences leads to the exploration of options in everything from soft furnishings to accessories. The walls were already SW Agreeable Gray, reflecting the client’s love for calm, peaceful surroundings. Contemporary furnishings with a traditional flair were chosen and medium grays and navy were the primary colors for the furniture. Rustic elegant, reclaimed wood was the choice for two statement coffee tables for each sitting area of the large room. Wall art brought a bit of gold, blue and white accents to the room. The two rug choices were soft and chunky, and a woven grass with fringe. Dead hang luxurious drapes flanked remote controlled large linen-look window shades to control sunlight and afford privacy. The clients were over the moon and needless to say, Shabby Chateau loves to visit this inviting space.
